basics BIRTHDAY: FEBRUARY 23rd STATUS: Engaged, Soon to be Father ORIENTATION: Straight KEY TRAITS: Loving. Independent. Hard Working. Intelligent. Empathetic. behind the mask Hello! My name is nevermore and I am 14 years old. As of today, I have been role playing for approximately one year. I also play CLARISSA ANN BLAKE. | Appearance: Edward has a fairly average build in terms of height and weight. His eyes are a hazely blue color and his face is freckled, although it isn't easy to tell from a distance. He has brown hair with lighter streaks. Clothing: Edward usually wears a t-shirt and jeans except when he's working, at which time he wears a suit and tie. History: By some people's standards, Edward should never have been born. His father, Billy Bob Blizzard, was a citizen of the city. As a child Billy Bob was popular at school. He was funny and smart and popular- not to mention the child of wealthy, respectable people. But he didn't enjoy his life at all. His parents were very strict and didn't tolerate a shred of disobedience. He didn't want to always have to obey- he needed more freedom. Perhaps this is what led him to help the unconscious girl on his doorstep. Even as a baby, Hailey Ann Ford was rebellious. She didn't obey rules and was a complete wild thing. Even her wildly red hair was puffy and curly. Even for a rebel, she was wild. Her parents couldn't control her and she basically did whatever she wanted. When she was twenty or so, she rounded up a bunch of friends and made some impromptu alcohol stills. They made a big batch of moonshine and let's just say, Hailey had a little more than her fair share. Hailey, needless to say, was a little hopped up. She bottled some of the liquor and decided she wanted to give it to the president of the city. Sneaking into the city, with a backpack filled with booze, she began to feel dizzy. She passed out on Billy Bob's doorstep. He heard the racket and came to investigate. His parents were away on a military expedition that was searching for the rebel base. He was alone in the house, and would be for several days. He decided to help the girl. Taking her in, he managed to revive her. When he asked what was in the backpack, she told him. And offered to share. Billy Bob agreed. They both drank a bunch of the stuff and then decided that they loved each other deeply and took themselves (and the drinks) into his bedroom. In the morning the woke up, hungover badly, but decided to repeat the night before. Two days before his parents were set to return the alcohol supplies ran out and the next day they were sober. Billy Bob couldn't believe what he'd done. He knew Hailey had to leave and never come back. But she wanted to see him again. She told him where she be in a week- he could come or not, she didn't care. To make a long story short, Billy Bob came. They continued their relationship but without the alcohol. They had both agreed that part might have been a little irresponsible. Then, one night six months later, Hailey didn't show up. She was missing that night, and the next. For nearly two months, he worried and worried. He knew where she lived but was reluctant to go. Was it possible she no longer loved him? But finally he decided to go. When he reached her house he found her on a couch, sickly looking and weak. She was alone, and very sick, it seemed. He rushed to her side and asked what was wrong. She managed to haul herself to her feet and he knew what the issue was. She was pregnant, and heavily pregnant, too. But the effort of standing had cost her. She collapsed in his arms and he realized he couldn't leave her like this. He stayed, hiding under the couch when her parents came. They kept asking whose child she was carrying, but she wouldn't say. About a week later the child was born. It was a very hard delivery and Hailey didn't survive it. Billy Bob came out of hiding when the delivery started and her parents knew he was the father. They dumped the child- a baby boy- into his arms and kicked him out, telling him to never return. He went home and told his parents the whole story. They had no sympathy- They had their son tried, and executed, for treason, actually. But that left the child with no parents, and he was seen as an innocent. The rebels wouldn't take him and Billy Bob's parents certainly didn't want him. So he was given to a family by the name of Coles as a baby. They lived next to the Fredericks, and they were generally kind to the young Edward, although they choose to reveal his true heritage to him as a young child even though it might have been kinder not to. They also revealed said knowledge to everyone else. Edward was teased relentlessly at school. Only one girl, Sasha, was nice to him. They became great friends and, a few years before present, their relationship became romantic. He realized that Sasha was his true love, his soul mate. Eventually, he proposed. The wedding hasn't happened yet, but it will soon. He also found out she was pregnant recently. His first thought when he heard this was one of worry. He'd been told (in gory detail) about his mother's death, and he feared Sasha would meet the same fate. But she seemed strong, so eventually he began to feel cautiously optimistic and then finally outright joyful about the new addition to his family. He was also quite happy to leave the Coles and move I with his fiancee. |
